The Second Annual Meeting of the Science Engineering Technology and Innovation Policy Asian Network (STEPAN) was convened on May 24, 2022. Liu Chang, Secretary-General of International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology (IKCEST), was invited to attend the meeting and give a presentation. Dr. Liu presented IKCEST practices and achievements in open science capacity building and infrastructures, and interacted with participants on open science. IKCEST is trying to explore pilot projects on how open science can be applied into areas such as public health, disaster risk reduction (DRR) and extend cooperation with STEPAN in the future.
